It has 8 Bars giving 16m of drying space when opened taking a 10Kg load of washing. When mounted on the wall and is 2.09m wide by 0.95m deep by 0.35m high when opened and closes to 2.09m wide by 0.12m deep by 0.35 m high facilitating packing out the way when not in use.

It is designed for Cape weather conditions so it is made from rust free material and is very sturdy when Mounted with 4 Stainless steel coach bolts with an 8 mm wall plug. The two sides are made of square tube aluminium forming the frame with round tube aluminium bars forming the hanging space.

The bars are bolted to the sides with stainless steel bolts which are screwed into the bars that are threaded to receive the bolts and fastened into place with locktite so that it doesn’t come apart. The bars are designed so that a standard peg can fit onto them but being wider than normal twine it doesn’t leave a crease mark.
